Protein-Protein Interactions (PPIs) is the holy grail of therapeutic intervention, offering a plethora of distinct structural  landscapes as potential targets. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy is unique tool to study these interactions, especially the weak yet critical associations.The talk will detail unpublished studies on characterizing, validating and targeting three different PPIs with implications in fatty acid/cholesterol synthesis, multiple drug resistance in fungi, and nuclear egress in herpesviruses. The unparalled and synergistic nature of NMR in addition to novel NMR methods for use in structural characterization and drug discovery will also be presented.
